Photo Glimpse: Mangroves of Jervis Bay

Jervis Bay Mangroves

There’s nothing quite like finding complete peaceful seclusion.  This is exactly what I found exploring the Mangroves of Jervis Bay by kayak with my father and brother.   Once we were beyond the popular fishing spots deeper and deeper down the river the only sounds we could hear were the rustling of the wind in the trees, birds calling, the swoosh of our paddles slicing through the water and our echoing laughter.  Finding this tranquility is the reason why Jervis Bay is one of my favourite destinations in Australia.
