There is so much to see and do around Yangshuo, it was impossible to fit it all in the short time I was there. I was however determined to take in its most breathtaking sites, get a good feel of the area and the life of its people.

There’s a particular smell you just can’ t avoid while walking down the streets of Shaoxing. It’s the smell of Shaoxing’s most famous culinary delight, Stinky Tofu.

I love living in China. I’m surrounded by fascinating quirks everyday that feed my curiosity for culture. The contrast of my neighbourhood is both astounding and interesting. I feel so privileged to live here, see it and experience this whole other life.
